1. Right click on the My Computer icon on your desktop,
then left click on Properties. The "Connect to box" should appear. 2. Insert your user name and password in the appropriate boxes, along with the phone number you are going to be dialing into without the area code. (find your local number) 3. Left click on Properties. 4. This should bring up a "my connection" box with several tabs verify that the area code is blank and phone number is correct. 5. Left click on the "networking tab", in the allowed network protocols box, be sure to only have tcp/ip box checked. 6. Click OK on all of the pop-up windows to close them. You are now ready to surf the Internet- double click the "Internet" icon on your desktop to dial out and start the Internet Explorer. 7.
